Fantastic Features
of Camphor Laurel Chopping Boards
Sizes – from 150mm x 250mm up to 450mm x 600mm and 24mm thick. Special sizes will be made on request
Handles – one, two or no handles
Colour – the boards will vary depending on the tree. The extremes are that it can be very deep dark and rich or completely blonde
Grain – Straight or Plain grain is when the grain runs from end to end of the board. End grain is in a circular pattern usually in the centre of the board
Advantages
- Antibacterial properties – tested and all timber has great antibacterial properties
- No blunt knives – it is great to cut on, soft enough not to dull the knife’s edge, yet hard enough for everyday food preparation
- Hot items, no problem – great to place a hot saucepan or teapot on so other surfaces don’t get marked
- Easy to care for – just wash in warm soapy water and oil occasionally for years of use
